A Nigerian eyewitness provides an account of the physical confrontation between social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) and comedian Mr Jollof during boarding. The altercation occurred before takeoff on a United Nigeria Airlines flight.
Incident Began During Boarding
The observer identified as @ezikepaultobechukwu explained the conflict started as passengers arranged luggage. Both men boarded simultaneously. They sat facing each other but in different rows.
Alleged Threat Preceded Physical Exchange
Tension erupted while passengers stored bags in overhead compartments. VeryDarkMan reportedly looked directly at Mr Jollof and declared, “I go slap you.” Nearby travelers initially perceived this as humor.
The situation escalated when Mr Jollof allegedly threw the first punch. VDM responded physically, triggering the fight.
The eyewitness described the event:
“I witnessed everything this morning. Both were close but in different rows. As they stored luggage, VDM told Jollof ‘I go slap you.’ People laughed initially. Then Mr Jollof started punching. VDM retaliated.”
Comedian Funny Bone attempted to mediate the dispute. He struggled to separate the battling personalities.
“Funny Bone tried intervening. Airport authorities removed both men. The flight departed without them. Both parties were at fault. They have ongoing legal disputes. Satan placed them together on that flight.”
The TikTok footage quickly gained widespread attention. Social media users vigorously debated the dramatic airborne incident.
