On social media platform X, Oseni stated the officer deserves national recognition. He wrote: “This officer merits a national honor. He remained composed and firm while Wike acted like a social media performer.”
Oseni noted a pivotal moment when the minister insulted the officer. The officer responded: “I’m no fool, sir. I have integrity.” This statement reportedly changed the argument’s tone.
According to Oseni, this powerful response ended the dispute. It highlighted the contrast between wisdom and arrogance.
The journalist criticized Wike for invoking age and status as arguments. The minister allegedly claimed: “You were in primary school when I graduated.” Oseni called this a common tactic when logic fails.
