The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Professor Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), as the winner of the Anambra State governorship election. Soludo secured victory after a closely watched electoral process across the state.
Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged as the closest rival with 99,445 votes. Other notable candidates included the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with 8,208 votes and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 1,401 votes.
