Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has drawn a striking parallel between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Noah’s Ark. The North Central Governors’ Forum chairman described Nigeria’s ruling party as a sanctuary for politicians pursuing good governance.
Sule credited President Bola Tinubu’s reforms for boosting public confidence in the APC. This renewed trust, he noted, has attracted opposition leaders to defect. The governor confirmed another governor will soon formally join the party.
“We’ll welcome a new governor at our next Progressive Governors’ Forum meeting,” Sule declared. “Our party has become Noah’s Ark. Those wanting good governance must join us.”
As APC Constitution Review Committee coordinator for North Central, Sule urged stakeholders to submit memoranda. He emphasized fixing constitutional gaps through this ongoing process.
“Stakeholders should maximize this opportunity,” he stated. “Our committee will review all submissions thoroughly.”
APC Deputy National Secretary Prof. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana praised Sule’s leadership. Representing the national chairman, he commended the governor’s developmental strides in Nasarawa.
“Governor Sule is a party-friendly leader,” Kana remarked. “He has firmly upheld APC’s victory torch in Nasarawa. We’re proud of his model governance.”
