Agent Denies Besiktas Move for Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has dismissed reports linking the Egyptian captain with a transfer to Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas. In a post on X, he clarified that no decision has been made regarding the player’s future.
Abbas Issa played down the speculation, emphasizing that Salah’s next destination remains undecided. He stated that he personally does not know where Mohamed will play next season and urged supporters not to read too much into the circulating rumors.
The agent also stressed that Salah’s camp does not engage in negotiations with clubs that do not align with the player’s ambitions merely to generate publicity.
“It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise,” Abbas Issa added.
During his Liverpool career, Salah established himself as one of the club’s greatest-ever players, winning major honours including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
His departure has sparked intense speculation about his next move, with several European and Middle Eastern clubs reportedly monitoring his situation. Salah also captained Egypt at the recent FIFA World Cup, although the Pharaohs were eliminated by Argentina in the knockout stage.
