Doris Ogala Responds to Online Criticism
The governorship candidate of the African Action Congress in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has reacted strongly after a woman identified as Goldilocks questioned her political ambition and doubted whether voters could trust her with their mandate.
Allegations of Reputation Damage
Ogala said she would normally ignore such remarks, but she felt compelled to respond after the critic allegedly crossed a line by bringing up her failed marriage.
“I came across a video by a lady named Goldilocks. Ordinarily, I would have ignored you, but you went too far. I don’t know how much they paid you to tarnish my image,” she stated.
The AAC candidate accused the woman of trying to damage her reputation, insisting that the critic knows nothing about the challenges she faced in her marriage.
Claims of Divine Mandate and Rival Governor’s Anxiety
Ogala also claimed that the incumbent governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, feels threatened by her governorship ambition, adding that she believes she has a divine mandate to become the state’s next governor.
Ogala Defends Her Personal History
“Even the incumbent governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, feels threatened because God has already said I will be the governor of Abia State.
Going after my failed marriage is what I will not tolerate. You know nothing about my marriage, and let me tell you, as a woman, you can’t even survive one inch of what I survived in that marriage,” she added.
She warned against using her failed marriage as a basis for attack, saying only she truly understands what she endured during that period.
Commitment to Abia State Service
Ogala maintained that she remains focused on serving the people of Abia State and will not allow criticism to distract her from her governorship ambition.
