Encounter with the Kenyan Woman
He recalled her words: “Nigeria denies visas frequently. I only learned today that Nigeria rejects visa applications at a high rate. There’s a Kenyan woman in the UK who has Nigerian friends and wished to visit Nigeria for the festive Detty December season to enjoy time with them. She submitted her visa application twice, but both times it was turned down.”
The man noted that the Kenyan visitor became visibly upset while recounting her experience, expressing astonishment that securing a Nigerian visa could be so challenging.
He added that she declared she would submit a third application, hoping that this attempt would finally grant her entry into Nigeria.
Emotional Reaction and Future Plans
He continued, “She was deeply distressed and even shed tears. I asked her, ‘You realize you’re trying to go to Nigeria?’ She affirmed. I responded, ‘Don’t you know Nigeria ranks among Africa’s largest nations? Entering is notoriously difficult.’ She insisted she would try once more, hoping the authorities would approve it,” he said.
Call to Nigerians
In closing, he urged Nigerians to take pride in the fact that their country also denies visas to foreigners.
Online Reactions
His remarks have triggered a wave of reactions across social media, with numerous Nigerians sharing their own viewpoints and personal stories regarding Nigeria’s visa procedures.
