Kaka Igbokwe served as 2Baba’s former manager. He is the son of late music legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe. Igbokwe has now confirmed a trending video. The clip shows music icon Innocent Idibia, known as 2Baba, being arrested in London. This incident followed an altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru. Igbokwe stated the video is authentic.

This confirmation contradicts 2Baba’s initial denial. The alleged incident happened in October 2025.

Igbokwe spoke on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session. This happened on Monday evening. He was part of 2Baba’s London tour team. He shared the same flight with the couple. Igbokwe affirmed, “everything you had [about] the couple’s face-off was true.”

The Incident Unfolds at Gatwick

Igbokwe recounted the argument’s unfolding. It began at London’s Gatwick Airport. Natasha Osawaru became upset. She is also an Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker. Natasha felt 2Baba abandoned her after landing. He had strolled away with fans. They ushered him into a shop.

The “African Queen” crooner soon realized his wife was left behind. He quickly ran back to her.

However, Igbokwe claimed Natasha then lashed out at 2Baba. This led to police involvement. Officers subsequently arrested the singer. They also handcuffed him.

Previous Denials and Resurfacing Video

The arrest and its drama first surfaced earlier. This was after 2Baba missed a concert. The event was scheduled for October 2, 2025. At that time, the singer denied reports of an arrest. He released a video. In it, he explained his absence. He cited a “medical emergency.”

The controversy resurfaced recently. Blogger Tosin Silverdam posted new evidence. This was a video clip. He shared it on Instagram and X. The date was December 1, 2025. The video purportedly showed 2Baba’s airport arrest.

Silverdam’s caption claimed, “Video of Tuface Idibia Being Arrested by the Police in the UK After an Alleged Altercation with His Wife Natasha… The Video Is Finally Out.”

Screenshots from the clip emerged. Commentators shared them widely. They appear to show officers speaking with 2Baba. This happened outside a store. They then escorted him from the building. Silverdam also posted a separate argument clip. He suggested Natasha was “jealous of 2Baba getting all the attention.”
