Kaka Igbokwe, 2Baba’s former manager, has confirmed a trending video. The video shows music icon 2Baba’s arrest in London. It followed an altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru. Igbokwe is also the son of late legend Christy Essien-Igbokwe. He stated the video is authentic.
This confirmation directly contradicts 2Baba’s earlier denial. The incident originally took place in October 2025.

Igbokwe spoke on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session. This was on Monday evening. He was part of the London tour team. He also shared a flight with 2Baba and Natasha. Igbokwe stated, “Everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
He described the argument at London’s Gatwick Airport. Natasha Osawaru became upset. She felt 2Baba abandoned her after landing. He walked away with fans who led him into a shop. Natasha is also an Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker.
The “African Queen” crooner soon realized his wife was alone. He then quickly returned to her side.
However, Igbokwe claimed Natasha then lashed out at 2Baba. This led to police involvement. Officers subsequently arrested and handcuffed the singer.
Background to the Controversy
The drama surrounding the arrest first emerged in October 2025. This was after 2Baba missed a concert. He later denied arrest reports. Instead, he released a video. In it, he claimed his absence was due to a “medical emergency.”
The controversy resurfaced on December 1, 2025. Blogger Tosin Silverdam posted a video clip. He described it as new evidence. The clip, shared on Instagram and X, purportedly showed 2Baba’s airport arrest.
The video’s caption stated: “Video of Tuface Idibia Being Arrested by the Police in the UK After an Alleged Altercation with His Wife Natasha… The Video Is Finally Out.”
Screenshots from the clip circulated widely. They appear to show officers speaking with 2Baba. This happened outside a store. They then escorted him from the building. Silverdam also shared another clip. It showed the argument itself. He suggested Natasha was “jealous of 2Baba getting all the attention.”
